Welcome to MTFC Quest

Welcome to MTFC Quest Soccer!

MTFC Quest was created many years ago in an effort to provide advanced skill training to players who were really serious about the game of soccer.  Eventually, teams from Gallatin, White House, Hendersonville, and Goodlettsville joined together to become what we now know as Tennessee United Soccer.  Now, the MTFC Board of Directors has decided to come back to our roots in an effort to expand our programs and again provide a means to offer these skills and training – as a result, Quest is reborn.

As our inaugural season, Fall 2013 will be a season of growth and experience for select U8 and U9 Players.
Quest teams will play 6v6 (including a goalie) and have up to 12 on a team.  We are hoping for 3 teams this season – U8 Girls, U8 Boys, and U9 Boys.

Practices will be 90 minutes, twice a week, in the evenings.  1-2 games will be played on Sunday afternoons.   Games will be played against other clubs in the area and can be either on our fields or theirs.  Our games will be no more than 60 minutes away from the Moss-Wright fields.

We are planning on participating in at least 1 tournament during the course of the season.
Tryouts for U9 Boys (birthdays between 8/1/2004 and 7/31/2005) will be taking place on Monday and Tuesday (June 24th and 25th) at the Moss-Wright Soccer Complex.  Players must attend both sessions for full evaluation.  Players will be notified by June 29th of the results of their evaluation.

Tryouts for U8 Boys and Girls (birthdays between 8/1/2005 and 7/31/2006) have not been determined yet.

What to expect at Tryouts:
1)  Registration is available online at or in person at the fields.
2)  There will be no charge for the tryouts.
3)  Your child will be photographed for reference purposes.
4)  Tryouts will consist of a warm-up session, a skills assessment, and a small-sided game.

Coaches and other league staff will be present to evaluate players.   Please bring cleats, shin guards, a #4 ball, and lots of water to both sessions.

Our coaches will be:
P.A. Bowler
John Cobb
Marty Martin

Players chosen for Quest, will be required to register for “Quest Camp” – a 3-session skills program designed to prepare players for the new season.  Since MTFC Recreational program now uses the 3v3 format with no goalies, one of the significant trainings will be to train goalies for the season.  Quest Camp will be included in your season cost and will be assessed prior to the beginning of camp.  Camp dates will be Aug 19, 20, and 22 from 5:30-7:00pm at Moss-Wright Park.
