Registration Information

Early Registration Period - November 5th thru December 4th, 2023 (Registration Fee = $130)

Priority Registration Period  - December 5th, 2023 thru February 17th, 2024 (Registration Fee = $140)

Late Registration Period - February 18th thru March 1st, 2024 (Registration Fee = $165)

In-Person Registration will be held at the Moss Wright Soccer Complex in the conference room adjacent to the concession stand on the following dates:

1. February 4th, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM
2. February 11th, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM

Players that are able to reuse their previous uniform will receive a $10 uniform discount.

Families with more than one player participating with MTFC will receive a $10 per child discount for player 2, 3, 4, etc.

Schedule Information

Coaches Meeting - February 24th, 2024 at 10:00 AM.  The coaches meeting will be held at the Moss Wright Soccer Complex conference room adjacent to the concession stand.  All volunteers interested in being a head coach or assistant coach are expected to attend.  

Practice schedule posted to the league website – Week of February 18th, 2024. 

Coaches Clinic for all volunteer coaches - Scheduled for Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 @ 10:00 AM at the Moss Wright Park Soccer Complex.

Practices begin either March 4th or 5th, 2024 depending on the age division.  The practice schedule for each division will be posted to the league website.  You will NOT be contacted by a coach prior to attendance at the first division practice.  All players within a given division will practice at the same time.  The first several weeks of practices will be used for evaluation of players for all age divisions other than U4 and U5.  The U4 and U5 team assignments will be determined by the league without evaluations after the first week of practices.

Team selection - March 16th, 2024 (Coaches only)

Release of rosters - March 17th, 2024

Uniform Distribution – March 25th, 26th, 28th and 29th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM under the green patio cover adjacent to the concession stand.



The exact practice days will be announced as soon as possible.

Practices continue in accordance with the division practice schedule for the entirety of the season. 

Game Dates (U4 thru U13-U15)

1.   Game 1 - March 30th
2.   Game 2 - April 6th
3.   Game 3 - April 13th
4.   Game 4 - April 22nd or 23rd (Division Dependent)
   
5.   Game 5 - April 27th
6.   Game 6 - May 4th
7.   Game 7 - May 11th
8.   Game 8 - May 18th
   

Game Dates (High School) - The high school game schedule does not follow the rest of the league and will be communicated by your coach.

Rainout / Make-up Dates (if necessary) - In the event that practices are rained out, they will NOT be rescheduled.  Make-up games will be played on April 28th and May 19th if necessary.  Make-up games on Sunday will not begin before 1:00 PM.

Picture Day: TBD.  Plan to arrive one hour prior to game time for team and individual pictures.

There will be no MTFC recreational practices March 18th - 22nd due to Sumner County Spring Break.  Additionally there will be no practices on April 19th due to a tournament at the fields

Equipment Needs:
All players will need cleats, shin guards, and a ball.  Shin guards are required at all practices and games.  The ball size required for each division is as follows:
U4 -U6 - Size 3
U7/U8 - U11/U12 - Size 4
U13-U15 & High School - Size 5

The following age group designations apply to the Spring 2024 season.

 
*All age groups are based on historical enrollment numbers. MTFC reserves the right to adjust the number and make-up of all divisions based on the number of registered players.  These decisions will be made by the League President and the MTFC Board and will be communicated to the league participants.
