QUEST SOCCER (TRAVEL)

WHAT IS QUEST?

Quest is the Select or Travel Program of MTFC. Like Rec League, Quest teams practice twice a week, play weekend games, and are led by great licensed coaches. However, Quest also includes tournament play in the fall and spring, offering a more competitive environment — while always maintaining our core value: the child comes first.

WHAT MAKES QUEST SPECIAL?

Tournament Play:

Most Quest teams participate in 2–3 tournaments per season. The number and travel distance depend on the age group and are scheduled by the team manager.

Games:

Including tournaments, we aim for 15–20 matches per season (Fall and Spring).

  • Fall Season: Late July/early August through mid-November
  • Spring Season: Mid-February through end of May

Practices:

Most teams practice twice a week, with some offering an optional third session on Fridays, usually 90 minutes each. Practice schedules are determined after tryouts, coordinated with our Rec program and another club that shares field space — typically finalized by mid-July.

Competitive Environment, Positive Culture:

We foster a growth-oriented and supportive atmosphere focused on sportsmanship, development, and community. Our program emphasizes being a family — not just within teams, but across the club.

Affordable Travel Soccer:

Season fees range from $300–$450, depending on age and tournament expenses.

Uniforms are separate, but we keep the same kit for 2–4 years (2026–27 will be Year 3 of the current uniform cycle).

We also offer:

  • Payment plans
  • Financial assistance on a case-by-case basis
  • Fundraising opportunities and volunteer credit options

TRYOUTS

  • Players are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible
  • If you can’t attend during your scheduled week, please still register and notify us — we’ll arrange an alternate evaluation
  • Open to boys and girls programs

OUR MISSION

At Quest/MTFC, we strive to provide an affordable, high-quality travel soccer experience for our community. Many families have been excluded from elite programs due to cost — our goal is to change that. We’re committed to offering the same level of development as more expensive clubs, while building a family-oriented, inclusive environment.

We truly look forward to seeing your family at tryouts for the 2026/27 season and working together to reshape the future of travel soccer.

Please email Questtryouts@mtfcsoccer.com with any questions and we will make sure we get the answer for you.
