Registration Information
Early Registration Period - June 4th thru June 18th, 2023 (Registration Fee = $130)
Priority Registration Period - June 19th thru July 15th, 2023 (Registration Fee = $140)
Late Registration Period - July 16th thru July 30th, 2023 (Registration Fee = $165)
In-Person Registration will be held at the Moss Wright Soccer Complex in the conference room adjacent to the concession stand on the following dates:
1. July 8th, 2023 from 9:00 AM to Noon
2. July 15th, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Players that are able to reuse their previous uniform will receive a $10 uniform discount.
Families with more than one player participating with MTFC will receive a $10 per child discount for player 2, 3, 4, etc.
Schedule Information
Coaches Meeting - July 29th, 2023 at 10:00 AM. The coaches meeting will be held at the Moss Wright Soccer Complex conference room adjacent to the concession stand. All volunteers interested in being a head coach or assistant coach are expected to attend.
Practice schedule posted to the league website – Week of July 31st, 2023 following the coaches meeting.
Coaches Clinic for all volunteer coaches - Scheduled for Saturday, August 5th, 2023 @ 10:00 AM at the Moss Wright Park Soccer Complex.
Practices begin either August 7th or 8th, 2023, depending on the age division. The practice schedule for each division will be posted to the league website. You will NOT be contacted by a coach prior to attendance at the first division practice. All players within a given division will practice at the same time. The first several weeks of practices will be used for evaluation of players for all age divisions other than U4 and U5. The U4 and U5 team assignments will be determined by the league without evaluations after the first week of practices.
Team selection - August 19th, 2023 (Coaches only)
Release of rosters - August 20th, 2023
Uniform Distribution – August 21st, 22nd, 24th and 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM under the green patio cover adjacent to the concession stand.
Practice Schedule - MTFC is dependent on our volunteer coaches so we must take their availability into account when finalizing the practice schedule. The practice schedule will be finalized at the coaches meeting. As of now, the following practice days and times are expected:
U4 Coed - Mondays at 5:30 PM
U5 Coed - Tuesdays at 5:30 PM
U6 Coed - Mondays and Thursday at 5:30 PM
U7/U8 Girls - Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM
U7/U8 Boys - Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:30 PM
U9/U10 Girls - Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM
U9/U10 Boys - Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:30 PM
U11/U12 Coed - Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:30 PM
U13-U15 Coed - Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00 PM
High School - Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00 PM
The exact practice days will be announced as soon as possible.
Practices continue in accordance with the division practice schedule for the entirety of the season.
Game Dates (U4 thru U13/U14)
- Game 1 - August 26th
- Game 2 - September 2nd
- Game 3 - September 9th
- Game 4 - September 16th
- Game 5 - September 25th or 26th
- Game 6 - October 14th
- Game 7 - October 21st
- Game 8 - November 4th
Game Dates (High School) - The high school game schedule does not follow the rest of the league and will be communicated by your coach.
Rainout / Make-up Dates (if necessary) - In the event that practices are rained out, they will NOT be rescheduled. Make-up games will be played on September 10th, October 15th, October 29th and November 5th if necessary. Make-up games on Sunday will not begin before 1:00 PM.
Picture Day: TBD. Plan to arrive one hour prior to game time for team and individual pictures.
There will be no MTFC recreational practices October 2nd thru 6th due to Sumner County Fall Break. Additionally there will be no practices on September 22 due to a tournament at the fields
Equipment Needs:
All players will need cleats, shin guards, and a ball. Shin guards are required at all practices and games. The ball size required for each division is as follows:
U4 -U6 - Size 3
U7/U8 - U11/U12 - Size 4
U13/U14 & High School - Size 5

*All age groups are based on historical enrollment numbers. MTFC reserves the right to adjust the number and make-up of all divisions based on the number of registered players. These decisions will be made by the League President and the MTFC Board and will be communicated to the league participants.
